New Look, Same Us

As you may remember, we kicked off 2021 with a big announcement – our change in leadership! Our brand-new partners, James and Jaylene, grasped hold of the Smart Savvy baton and have been running full speed since then. 

The past year has brought all kinds of exciting new shifts – new team members, more seemingly serendipitous matches… But the biggest (or, at least, the most obvious) is our new appearance. 

With all the changes taking place, we thought it’d be a good time to review our brand and update our look. Something a little lighter, a little brighter – a glow up of sorts. (That’s what the kids call it these days, right?) 

An updated website was first on our wish list. Our former site served us so well over the years. But our needs changed. And it was time for us to catch up. 

Last summer, we contacted our friends at Monday Creative to help us sort out this new stage of the business. They guided us through branding exercises, listened to our hopes, dreams, and ideas, and – according to our interpretation of events – sprinkled magic dust all over our rambling thoughts to *poof* produce a reimagined brand along with this new look and feel. (And we love it!) 

Then, Forge + Smith took all the amazing work done up to that point and turned it into this. (*gestures around at the website*) Their team turned our fancy new brand guidelines into a fully functioning website. (And – again! – we love it!) 

But despite all the changes that’ve taken place, one important piece remains: 

We’re still the same Smart, Savvy + Associates. 

Or Smart Savvy. Or (now) SS+A.
